My color of the moment is Gray

My color of the moment is Gray- it's my New Black.

we did our {not so obviously nautical} bedroom in charcoal and LOVE it more than we even expected to.
a happy surprise was that, with all our white trims, mouldings, furniture, accents...  a charcoal room stays light and bright and even 'airy', even in a north-facing room!!  {by the way, the hallway is black- for more on that one, see this post: back to the hallway!}
what do you think?

our lovely outdoor room sanctuary

and now, for the outdoor shower!!

2016- "Solar City Tower" will be the welcome symbol to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro

"Solar City Tower", built atop the island of Cotonduba will be the welcome symbol to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro...

It will be seen by the game visitors and participants as they arrive by air or water.

The tower, captures solar energy. It will supply energy for all of the Olympic city, as well as for part of Rio. It pumps up water from the ocean to create what appears like a waterfall and this stimulates turbines that produce energy during the night.
It will also hold the Olympic flame.

The Tower possesses an amphitheater, an auditorium, a cafeteria and boutiques. Elevators lead to various observatories. It also has a retractable platform for bungee jumping.

At the summit is an observation point to appreciate the scenery of the land and ocean, as well as the water fall.

Solar City Tower will be the point of reference for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

oh! and i got a new camera and laptop, too!

i got a white house (well, we had it painted but stucco with arches has to be white on the exterior, what was the previous owner thinking?), a white laptop, {finally got} a white phone, and a white camera- still looking for my perfect white shoes!!!

i Love my how my beautiful little Retro-inspired white camera looks!  On the other hand, if you're considering buying a Sony Vaio- at least from the EB series- i could tell you some things... it's lacking some funcitons and my phone takes better-colored pics...  feel free to ask
p.s. i have a pinterest now, too!  it's: sharonna misha on pinterest
be careful, it's a little addicting.

we got our spanish mediterranean home and painted it White

white stucco with arches needs to be white!

okay, so i'm back!  i'm So ready to be back.  actually, it's what i need.
where have i been since November 2, 2010?  i was moving into my house, taking care of my mother (suddenly and unexpectedly), and planning my wedding and getting married!
all HUGE.
truthfully, i was in no way prepared for what that meant.  for about 5 months, i basically didn't work on anything else (including my job) except for the wedding.  but, even though it was my (our) first time planning a wedding, everything went off without a hitch.  no pun intended...  and we pretty much did every detail and every extra detail ourselves.  from the vision to the planning, etc.
well, i could go on and on about that, and i'm happy to answer any questions if i can, but that's enough for now.  i could actually be a wedding planner at this point but what i need to get back to is my house- my 86 year old lovely spanish/mediterranean beauty that we have only had for 8 months- and my businesses- sharonna misha designs, collages by sharonna misha, and johnny's girl.
from this day forward, this blog will be about both the house and the business, with a little bit of wedding and other personal stuff thrown in, i'm sure.  i hope you enjoy it as much as i do- if you stick around, you will watch my empire grow!! ♥
