ricky martin on oprah

i was having a really shitty day.  a bad/stressful/unsuccessful/unfulfiling day/week/month/year had caught up with me again and even being productive didn't help.  it usually does.  even cleaning didn't help.  it usually does.  even showering and washing my hair didn't help.  it usually does... i think.  anyway, i retreated to my bed and watched ricky martin on oprah.  i was so moved.  what else can i say?  i laughed and teared up (many times)- in a happy way- and felt my heart swell and i loved every moment of it.  his delivery, oprahs reception, the audience's validation.  it was all perfection.

laurie's swallow necklace on "cougar town" tonight

did anyone notice laurie's necklace on cougar town tonight?  it's sorta like mine, except for, i'd hate to say it, mine's better and more unique.  mine's got the assymmetrical, multi-chain thing going on~ what do you think?

p.s. the chunky beaded necklace she wore during the rest of the episode- plastic and wood- i've got those, too! click here

i love living in the palm beaches!

i'm super excited for THE event this thursday evening- Inferno at the Armory Arts Center!  i love a gig in my own back yard (well, neighborhood)!!
as an artist/designer living in the palm beaches, i am always being inspired by all things around me.  the water, architecture, weather, people.  i can't stop creating to the point where i can't keep up with myself sometimes. right now i'm super-excited to debut my new lines: "let them eat cake" & "lucky & free"
if you're around, i hope you'll come.  stop by my booth & say hello- i can't wait!  xoxo
the Armory Arts Center is located @ 1700 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida
show is from 7p-9p.

p.s. my items are eco-friendly...

many of my items are eco-friendly and eclectic.  meaning they're green and they cover a wide range of styles and categories.  i have everything from rock tees for babies to antique furniture and original artwork.  so many of my designs are repurposed from other things.  the materials i use for my collages mostly come from recycled junk-mail!  i'm a good picker so if there's anything in particular that you're looking for, just ask- i might have it, or i might be able to get it!!

check out this antique, painted picture i found- even the frame is carved & painted on!
