ricky martin on oprah
i was having a really shitty day. a bad/stressful/unsuccessful/unfulfiling day/week/month/year had caught up with me again and even being productive didn't help. it usually does. even cleaning didn't help. it usually does. even showering and washing my hair didn't help. it usually does... i think. anyway, i retreated to my bed and watched ricky martin on oprah. i was so moved. what else can i say? i laughed and teared up (many times)- in a happy way- and felt my heart swell and i loved every moment of it. his delivery, oprahs reception, the audience's validation. it was all perfection.
